Hello, I'm Nadia

Originally from Portugal and living in Ireland for 15 years, I've always been drawn to creativity and making things by hand. My professional career is in the animation industry, where I work as a compositing artist, bringing characters and worlds to life through polishing and finishing the final animation picture.

Outside of animation, I enjoy exploring more tactile and personal forms of creativity through illustration and ceramics. What began as a hobby has become a meaningful part of my life,a chance to slow down, work with my hands, and create unique pieces in small batches.

My work is influenced by my Portuguese roots combining a love of colour, texture, and simple, functional design. Whether I'm sketching in a notebook, shaping clay in my studio, or glazing a new collection of pottery, I'm inspired by the beauty of everyday objects and the stories they carry.
